Mike Boyd put on a great show with the 'Mousie' Marcellus & Borsch Winged Express, however a red light put him out against Ron August Jr in Pure Hell.

Pure Hell was competitive in terms of pace and went 6.329 in round one, quick for an old-style Fuel Altered. However the car was unable to start in the semi final.
